I'd say it's more like an extra leg, since our legs can take tons more weight (they hold up our whole bodies all the time, every day) as opposed to our arms that are way weaker (unless you work out a lot specifically for that part of your body). For example, this person could probably use the tail to jump off the ground but try doing that with even both arms.
