Texas Smash is a giant punch, Delaware Smash is a finger flick, Missouri Smash is a wrist flick like the shape of the state, Carolina Smash is a cross arm strike like the shape of the Confederate Battle Flag (SC was the first state to secede), St. Louis Smash is a roundhouse kick with Deku's leg following the shape of the Gateway Arch. This visual was more pronounced in the manga. Detroit, Manchester, and Wyoming Smashes don't have as much of an obvious vibe with their attack style but that's still a lot.

Consider though, they put out 4-5 videos per week, and have an additional editor working for them. This is their only income as far as I'm aware, and they're making bank off it. I don't think one additional 30 minute video per week is an unreasonable request. But it's obviously their channel, and their business model is clearly working. They're definitely better off stretching this for 3+ years. That's a lot of content!

Even the Detroit punch is the same as his Texas punch only he punches down instead of forward. So I think it is more vibes and how he does it when it comes to naming.
