Free Elden Ring Recluse Pics for the People!

Good morning Comrades!

I've been hinting at posting something witchy since Halloween. The Recluse lives up to her name because her in-game character model was really difficult to get a hold of. One content creator had a version of her. It was underwhelming and Blender exclusive. Even if I could get her into DAZ with its wonderful Iray rendering engine, the textures would have probably been substandard.

I finally found a Genesis 9 version of her for sale on a very small third-party site. I wasn't happy with her face. Her hips were weird, like flat shelves. The butt was flat, even by Veilguard standards (not that bad but close).

The feet seemed to be generic Genesis 9 feet: an improvement from Genesis 8 but there's a catch. I've been in the Genesis 8 ecosystem for years now. It is still considerably more supported over Genesis 9, even in late 2025. I know how to take a Genesis 8 Female and use purchased morph sliders to dial the character in about 80-90% before sculpting out the finished product in Blender.

I was happy to see that since I last checked, many of my favorite vendors that made most of the morph sliders that I use for G8, offer identical products for G9. I reinvested the proceeds from this month's memberships into purchasing those, along with some SPICY wardrobe pieces.

With those new tools, I was able to get the Recluse most of the way there. Now it was time to sculpt her exported mesh in Blender. Genesis 9 characters have much larger poly counts. This would seem to be an advantage, but I have to move around 2-4 times the number of vertices. It takes a lot more time. It's easier to start with a low-poly mesh and then subdivide it when rendering to give it the smooth shapes and high-poly look you are used to seeing.

The feet were a particular challenge, but not impossible. I've managed to get them sculpted into something I find truly erotic and much different from other characters. She looks much better here than in game I think. There were no foot morph sliders for Genesis 9, other than the basics (toe length, heel width etc). This was the most from-scratch foot sculpt I've done, though I can use the morph I created on other Genesis 9 models which will be a good starting point. I do plan on making improvements.

While no good foot morphs exist for Genesis 9, there was one particular product I picked up on sale that added minute details, like tendons, veins, pores, and toe prints. Added to the already improved textures of the G9 model, and I've wound up with something more real looking. I think I was one of the only people to find and use the G8 hand and foot tendon sliders. They were an obscure third party add-on I learned about from my old teacher. It's good to have an even better version of it for G9.

So as of now, I've taken a big leap into the Genesis 9 ecosystem. If a character looks good, its G9 exclusivity will not be a deterrent going forward. You can expect better textures and great hair.

Finally, in other news, I have finished all visual and narration editing for my next 3DX visual novel: The Way of Watersports. I'll have it up here in January. I just need to format it and create a kick-ass poster for it.
