We know Hunter has based his whole life on the Emperors Coven and even Belos himself, how do you think this realization that everything he has ever believe in his entire life is nothing but smoke and mirrors. And that he is simply a tool that Belos shows with the other Golden Guards he has no problem removing?

2023-05-16 23:32:13 +0000 UTCPersonally I saw Hunter’s turn coming from the minute I saw him unscreen he just gave me instant Zuko vibes and at the beginning I wasn’t sure if it was going to work well but I liked it more than I thought I would. What do you guys think of this turn from him in the show and how do you think the revelations of this episode will affect hunter from a psychological perspective? I think it’s believable especially when you take into consideration that he isn’t loyal to the emperor’s coven but to belos specifically and he is just a brainwashed kid so I liked the road that the writers have taken with him. Love to hear your thoughts.
2023-05-06 17:24:07 +0000 UTCMontana probably had a field day with this episode! How do you guys feel about the Belos’s subconscious being a child now knowing more about his goals for the boiling isles? Also what are your predictions for the Day of Unity and why the Collector is so important for it?
2023-05-04 04:43:08 +0000 UTCHow do you think the boiling isles might have been had the past events had nor happened and if Belos had not influenced the boiling isles?

2023-04-28 02:37:28 +0000 UTCIn the beginning of the episode, the present day witches seem fearful of the idea that the Titan is always watching them, and are worried of the consequences for doubting that Belos is the Titan's true messenger. In the past however, the idea that the Titan could be watching, or have opinions on the way witches act, is met with confusion. Do you think that Belos has twisted the way the Titan is viewed culturally on purpose, and if so, did he base on it on his own experiences with religion, as the inhabitant of a 1600s American colony in a state famous for it's cruel witch trials?

2023-04-27 20:03:45 +0000 UTCThis episode sees the return of the concept of the mindscape and an “inner self” from season one’s “Understanding Willow.” However this episode utilizes these devices in vastly different ways to tell its story (or storiES, if you pay attention to the background images throughout the episode). How do you think the mindscape in this episode differs from the one we saw for Willow and what could that difference represent about the minds of the two individuals we’ve seen?

2023-04-21 06:24:17 +0000 UTCAt the beginning of the episode King tells Luz that people don’t want to believe they’ve wasted their lives following the wrong person. How do you think they could convince the citizens of the Boiling Isles that Belos is evil?

2023-04-19 20:07:08 +0000 UTCHow are you feeling about Belos as a character now that his motivations are revealed? That every single horrific thing he's done comes back to this skewed childhood belief. How do you even go about defeating someone that truly believes they're the hero in the story? (Belos is my favorite character and I've been waiting for this episode!!)

2023-04-16 06:13:20 +0000 UTCWhy do you think Belos keeps making grimwalkers, considering he says they all eventually betray him? How do you think this ties into his plan for the draining spell we found out about last episode, and his experiments this episode with sigils?
Angel Hernandez
2023-04-14 18:12:32 +0000 UTCBelos says he destroys each grimwalker after they betray him, implying each one eventually turns against him. What do you think this says about Belos, nature vs nurture, as well as the person all the grimwalkers have been cloned from?

2023-04-14 16:33:57 +0000 UTCWith what we’ve learned this episode, what do you think about Philip telling Luz that he felt the world itself was hiding glyphs from him? Do you think Luz teaching him the light glyph will haunt her now that she knows his goals?

2023-04-14 16:29:57 +0000 UTCYou’ve formally met the collector this episode! Are they at all like you expected? What do you think their motivation is for helping Belos?

2023-04-14 16:27:10 +0000 UTCobligatory ‘look at the background portraits’ message (If you want to do take your time doing that off screen and cut back with your thoughts I know several reactors have done it that way)

2023-04-14 16:26:07 +0000 UTCMake sure you guys look at all the background images to get Belos’s full story! I believe someone from the Owl House production team released high-quality versions of the images on twitter!

2023-04-14 06:43:59 +0000 UTCBased on all you’ve learned this episode, what is a grimwalker? Who is the “better version of an old friend” Belos is referring to?

2023-04-14 06:39:11 +0000 UTCThis episode is a goldmine for background details. Based on the paintings you saw, how much of Belos's full backstory do you guys think you can put together?

2023-04-14 02:12:26 +0000 UTCTheres a moment where Belos has a conversation with the collector. Do you think that the collector has other motivations for being released other than just being free and wanting to play?

2023-04-14 01:34:17 +0000 UTCWhat do you think of the reveal oh Belos/Philip's true motivation? We always knew he was up to no good, but a (very) old man justifying cruelty and manipulation based on nothing more than bigotry and entitlement seems like a LOT for a supposed kids show.

2023-04-14 01:12:44 +0000 UTCPretty Hunter centric this episode was. How are we feeling about his character arc and development so far? Especially now considering that we got a little insight on his backstory? Any thoughts on that as well?

2023-04-14 01:01:26 +0000 UTCIn the beginning of this episode we see hunter bragging about being the youngest golden guard, but in the end he is ripping off his cape in fear and running away. Throughout the series we've also seen hunter place a great emphasis on his loyalty and purpose as a golden guard which takes a great toll on his self esteem and how he views himself. How do you think this will all affect his mental state and how he views himself after learning the truth about himself and the emperor? Where do you think his story will take him now that he's run off?
2023-04-14 00:50:56 +0000 UTCJust throw all your hunter/caleb/below/philip/unnamed witch wife theories at the wall.
