We see Alador fail to listen to his daughter, but Luz's family is having communication issues too. While King and Eda try to be supportive, they don't manage to reach Luz before she breaks down. Their hearts are in the right place, but do you think there was something else they could've done?

Pretty emotional episode this one was, what do you think about the two different relationships between a father and daughter we saw this episode and how they can effect a person? We're used to seeing Luz as a positive and upbeat person, but in this episode we see her grieving and breaking down. Even after revealing to Amity the truth, she tries to laugh off her pain. Why do you think luz is always trying to help her friends, but when she's dealing with something, she tries to push it to the side and avoid it? What do you think this episode says about "strong" friends who we feel we don't always need to checkup on?

What do you think of how Amity's dad sort of acknowledges his passiveness in his role as a parent and how Amity didn't immediately go for a hug but also didn't fully reject him? Almost like saying we're not there yet, but we can work at it. And do you think it should be more normalized not immediately forgiving your parents when they've hurt you or played a role in your pain?
