Our Graduation Film, 'Ur Aska' is out! + "Sif's Patreon Art Book #001"

Dear Patrons,

This week our graduation film, ‘Ur Aska’ was released online. It seems only appropriate that I should share it with you, as well as the associated bachelor thesis I previously promised.

As you might have seen I’m in the midst of revamping the Patreon page. Right now I’ve made a new profile pic and banner and sorted the tags better so they can now be used to navigate to different kinds of posts from the main page.

Looking back at all those past posts we’ve sure come a long way, haven’t we? I’d like to once again thank those that have stuck around for this long, as well as those who have joined more recently. I really can’t wait to share all the new content with you.

I’ll do a proper post about the full Patreon revamp once I’ve gone over the text and rewards, but for now, I realized how difficult it can be to navigate, especially in regards to image files I share. To counteract this I’ve decided to gather visual material into PDFs that I’ll call ‘Sif’s Patreon Art Book ####’ that will always be able to be found under the #artbook tag. These compilations should give a better behind-the-scenes look into pieces and storyboards I release. Just to get the ball rolling I’ve compiled a bunch of early concept work I had from this bachelor film, but I’ll share another one with some of the recent Tales of Zale artwork pretty soon as well.

We’re halfway into the second week of freedom after graduating and finishing the ASF course. The first week I decided to dedicate to finishing the livestreaming puppet I had been working on as well as some other assets, and this week I’m polishing up Patreon and social media. I’ve been able to schedule in a way that also leaves time for regular exercise and exploration – so so far so good! Next week I should be able to get back to some storyboarding for ToZ, and if everything goes well I may do a pilot livestream with the setup I have in mind. 

But one thing at a time; you will probably hear from me again before then as I continue giving Patreon some attention.
