Hello everyone,
Time for the final log. I apologize in advance I say stuff I've already said before, I don't have the courage to read all the previous logs just for that (and I have no memory :x).
This final log is meant to mention the added elements to this version that I (think) I haven't mentionned before, and I'm showing you a couple of pics to tease what's to come.
So for the things to expect, there are things that won't change much on your side (like the fact I've increased the non-playable part of most small maps for different reasons that made this necessary.)
But there are more interesting things, like the fact you'll now see the ejaculation version of the pixel animation in the brothel when it's reaching 50% of its money progression. I was supposed to show you a screenshot for that but I have a last minute bug preventing me to do so -_-
It will also be possible to hide the textbox at anytime by pressing the H key. There will be a new conversation between Kaya and Biserka in Kaya's appartment (the only new non-Elizabeth-related element in that update.) I invite you to check it, you might have a glimpse of how Biserka looked when she was younger 8D
There are also small things like the updated second sports scene between Kaya & Conrad (the second half of it was the exact same part than the first scene. I hadn't actually finished writting it :x), the stray dog's sprite has been added to the homeless camp. The employees x female pixel animations in the brothel aren't buggy anymore (showing overlapping frames).
Among the interesting things we managed to implement in that update are the quests indicators on the world map. Basically, if there's a place where a heart icon or a quest icon is visible, it will appear over the world map corresponding place. That will help you see whether or not there's still something to do in those place. Keep in mind that unlike quests, it's possible to have H scenes that are not triggered by a heart icon (Like the toilet infected scene in Lost Town). Since those don't have a heart, they won't appear on the world map. If that's REALLY a problem to you, I can add those in the next update.
Here's the screen you'll get when introduced in Elizabeth's past. You'll get a different one each day as day switch indicators.
That's the second one (between day 1 and 2). Every time you get a different one (Today's Elizabeth --> Past Elizabeth --> Past Elizabeth in underwear --> Naked Past Elizabeth --> Naked Today's Elizabeth).
And of course there are new things to mention about fights.
First of all, a new status ailment: Heat. When Kaya's in heat she takes more damage (Defense is divided by two) but her horniness fills 1,5x faster and her precision reaches 200% (it's impossible to miss a skill).
The programming of the UI has been completely rewritten. Until now we based ourself on the very famous MOG Battle HUD but Hime wrote her own version from scratch (notably because we were reaching a point where our additions in the fights was making more and more of a pain to adapt them to be compatible with MOG's Battle HUD. So we made out own thing. That's why the Menu doesn't look the same. We do plan on updgrading this on the next update.
Now here are two attacks for the sake of it.
There are three major things to mention about those.
First of all, now the battle pics are 1920*1080. It's an accident, I forgot to resize them. And when I saw the result, I realized it worked well, so I left those like this. And I had to reexport all the previous one at that size as well ^^'
The second (most obvious) thing is that now, the name of the attack is written INSIDE the attack. We're working towards trying to get rid of RPG Maker's battle log. And among the things written are the attack names. So since we removed that log, we thought it was a good idea to write the skill's name directly inside the pic. It's not always easy to read but you get the idea most of the time.
And the third thing is tied to the second one. Since battle pics have different compositions, the background elements (icon, name etc..) differ from one pic to another (when they were all at the very same place in the previous pics. There again I had to redo all the previous pics to fit that new version. But I like the result :)
And a last thing I forgot to mention: quickies are now available in the gallery. They're ordered by place (It's only Ambriosa now but there will be more) and then by characters. Then for each character you have the list you can pick from.

When that update will be released I think I'll be pretty satisfied with the work we've done on it. We already have the list of things we plan on doing for v0.3. As you can expect, since it's a round number, a lot of those are meant to fix things, upgrade and polish already existing things. But I'll talk about those when the time comes, don't worry :p
