Delays... And a pic preview

Hello everyone,

The title is clear enough to avoid beating around the bush. The update won't be ready for the end of January -_-

There are two main reasons for that. The first one is on my side. My grandfather is currently needing a lot of help and my parents need me for that. As such, I have full days where I can't work because I have to spend the day outside to help them.

The second one is to be put on the "cursed" side of things. The curse of the colorists stroke again and Kai has been unreachable for the past 2 weeks. As such, none of the pics of that update are colored yet. Add to that the fact that we still have two full pics to do, it's obvious we won't be ready in time.

I know I said there wouldn't be something as monthly releases anymore so it's not that big of a deal, but it still bothers me that things are basically slowed down ever since Christmas.

Actually there's another reason we're behind: During Fridays (which are normally days where I work with Hime for scripts and stuff), we've been working on something else than SoS. We're completely revamping the Blue Axolotl site (again :x)

I wanted that new site to be ready for the v0.1 because that's when the demo will become free for everyone so the site has to be ready for that particular moment if I want people to be interested in Blue Axolotl. Add to that the fact that we've also worked on a custom tool to automatically translate the game in Japanese through DeepL to try to reach the Japanese audience as well as something to make the proofreading much easier to export/import, and you have a good list of elements that need to be done and are taking time. So I guess it's not the worst timing for our colorist to disappear. But I really hope he'll come back quickly cause he doesn't we're not losing just the colorist but also the background designer as it's the same guy D:

To make you wait, I'm bringing you a pic preview of one of the upcoming scenes of the update. Needless to say that it's not colored :x

That's all for today. I apologize again and I hope things will be fixed quickly. If the colorist never comes back well, it'll mean having to find another one and another background designer. Needless to say I'm praying for him to come back -_-
