The best compromise ever?

Time to reveal something to you. I could've waited longer but as always, I'm a fucker when it comes to being patient for that kind of thing -_-

You see, sometimes I enter a sort of frenzy for work. It can be for anything. The problem is that when I do, I don't care whether or not what I work on is necessary for the next update or not, I just want to work on that specific thing. So for a couple of days, I've done nothing but coming up with girls design on Daz. And as I was creating them I thought "Hm... Instead of creating the girls one by one based on my needs, what if I created MANY NPCs who'd have a 3D version? The more the better, Ambriosa will feel more lively."

At that point you're probably thinking "with the 32 girls in Ominira how many more girls is he going to create?" That's the trick. Girls from the first game are secondary characters, not NPCs. They'll have more importance. Here, I was really leaning on the NPC side of things. And as I was working on them several things crossed my mind. Some I can't reveal yet (but I think you'll LOVE it when I'll reveal it), and stuff I can reveal right now.

Basically here's how I see things. I create the majority of Ambriosa's girls based on a 3D model (not ALL, of course, considering the size the town is planned to be, it's near impossible, but a good amount. More than originally planned.) Considering they're NPCs, you won't have to expect anything coming from them outside a quest (or a piece of lore). After all, they're just NPCs. It'll just make things more varied.

And here's a bit you could enjoy: If those girls are NPCs, they're less tied to the scenario of the game. Do you know what it means? Well... Let say I create a girl A and a girl B. I put them in Ambriosa, you talk to them as you play, discover their faces and that's all. And one day, I create a post and I tell you: "Hey guys and girls, wanna see girl A or girl B doing something naughty? Vote for your favourite!" And then the winner would have a list of possible choices for a scene for which you'd vote too!

Some of you already know it, but I dislike shoehorning stuff in my games through people's votes. I know it's something that works. A LOT (in terms of gathering new Patrons.) But my past experiences weren't really satisfying. The only moment I enjoyed it was for the vote of the extra SoV2 scene. You know why? That's because I picked the scenes I'd enjoy before making the poll. Here, it would be the same. I'd give you a list of scenes I'd be willing to implement (so no frustration on my side). It will feel less shoehorned cause they're NPCs (it's not as if people were forcing counter-lore scenes like making Zoey having sex with a guy :x). And lastly, as NPCs, they will be scattered through the game. I'll "plant" them like seeds and if for whatever reason I want to create a scene with a specific girl, well I can, cause it's my game XD

So basically I'd be reaching a level where I'm able to make the community participate actively in the content of TH2 without it impacting the core of what I want to do. The other good side is that it doesn't have to be mandatory. If for some reasons I don't have enough time, I can skip a poll, it's less prejudicial than having to cut core content.

The only problem is that I can't make poll balance with vote power (unless I do the poll manually and check people's names and their rank to adjust each value. It's a bit of a hassle ^^')

So I hope that first part is already pleasing you, cause there will be a second part coming with it. But for that, you'll have to wait the update after the March one ^^'

Meanwhile, I'm showing you the very first girl of that list. She'll have her importance so she's not really an NPC at heart (consider her importance close to a character like Catherine) but gotta start somewhere, eh.

However I won't say anything about those girls. Not even their names :p
