Hello everyone o/
The Hunter 2 is currently entering the final stage of its development. Man I had forgotten how many tiny things had to be worked on when you start a project. To be honest, I'm glad SoV3 is a bit delayed cause starting a project is almost as exhausting as finishing one x) (especially in such a short span of time.)
I still have a few things to write in the game and after that I'm going to test things (and that part can take 2 hours as much as it can take 10 hours, it really depends on the amount of corrections to do) but overall, you can expect a release either this wednesday (at the best) or this thursday (if things take longer than planned.)
Meanwhile, as planned I'm showing you the last two things that were implemented in the game. One of them is something you already know as it was present in the first game: The Fetish selector.
It works exactly like the previous one. The only difference is that it looks better. I had to occupy a good part of the screen because otherwise it looked a bit dull and and Sas got the idea of writing the fetish description. So I took some liberties and decided to do it for all of them (knowing that even if I give the definition, I often joke about the content more than giving serious facts only.)
The list of fetishes you see here is not set to stone. It's not impossible that along the game's development, I decide to add one or two that I didn't think about right now. But overall, you have the big lines.
And the second thing that is brand new (you can once again thank Hime for that): A Quest Journal! (You can see the pic above.) I think this is definitely something that was needed in my games. Not only because it helps solving quests, but also because there are more people than we think that actually wait a few updates before playing a new version, and when you go back to a game you haven't played for several months and are in the middle of some quests, it's hard as fuck to remember what to do and where to go. Here, everything's solved! Look-wise we'll try to improve it a bit in the next update but the main goal was to make it work. You have the main quest on the top that explains what to do and under it, you'll have the list of sub-quests as well as different informations about them (Who gave you the quest? Where? How hard is it? What are going to be the rewards? and of course: What needs to be done next?)
This is the final new element of The Hunter 2. I hope you enjoyed that little list of improvements and understand why I decided to stop the first game to start on more solid grounds. THIS is a solid ground to me ^^ I'll see you in a few days for the release of the game!
See ya o/
