Léonie, Sophie and Shing's Rework

Can you feel that I'm starting to want to get rid of rework presentations? XD But I still have to finish it, so I'm now doing it in batches like I did with Lizzie and Jade :p This time we have both the oldest and the youngest members of the village. Let's first go with Léonie cause she's the one I changed the most. It's simple, I totally left her old design aside cause I didn't like it. So I decided to take a whole new model (thankfully more "aged" females models have been released since the days I created Léonie) carefully choosing one that "might be interesting for some of the players" ;) In that regard she sure looks more appealing than her previous model (that's not hard :x) But I wanted her to keep that serious side because no matter what, she's still in charge of the village and she has a lot to think about so she can't be as carefree as the other members. That's why I also decided to go for something classic in term of clothes and haircut. Yet, still with lipstick because her burden doesn't prevent her from wanting to look good. Considering Sophie, I didn't change much about her (she was already a G3 model in the first game.) However I wanted to change her haircut for the simple reason that she shared it with Diana and I didn't want that (though to be honest, the morphs on each girl were different enough for people not to notice right away. But that's just me.) So I searched for different hair cut and the problem with most of them is that the "young" morph downscaling body parts (including the neck) leads to hair following that downscaling. As such, if you give her long hair, as soon as they'll reach the neck level, they'll start creating a sort of "stair" effect that is terrible to see. Just that ruled out most haircut. But short hair weren't looking good on her either. So I ended up using a haircut that reached the neck just in time to avoid the stair effect. Clothes-wise I tried to change things too while keeping the little girl feeling. Once again the "young" morph doesn't help (many clothes create an ugly shape around the breasts because they were shrunk down so they're unusable too). It doesn't help that many of the skirts I have are leaning towards the "naughty/slut" side of things, making them unusable too. But I'm glad of the combo I found. I even managed to implement that VERY Japanese thing, the "zettai ryouiki" (the small space of skin between the end of a sock and the beginning of the skirt). For Shing, things weren't that easy. First of all there are waaaaaaay more models of female than males. As such, finding a girl that still looks good after applying the young morph is easier. The boys, on their side often end up looking strange with a more adult face than they should. And unfortunately, that's the feeling I have with Shing. And I didn't start from a male body from a teen one. Then you have the skin problem: A LOT of skin materials have hair somewhere (often on the torso, but sometimes also on arms, legs and of course, around the penis). So you have to find a texture that is totally hair free (cause at his age, you're not supposed to have hair.) That also limitates a LOT the choices (unlike girls where 9 models out of 10 are totally shaved.) So the result isn't as good as I was hoping, but considering the time I spent on him I don't think I'll be able to do better with the elements I have.
