All characters' designs don't evolve for the same reason. As I already said for Jeanette, you can basically draw a line and make two categories: Girls having a new design based on how they evolve in the story (Paige, Akane, and in this case, Nathalie) and girls having a new design only based on the wish to give them an improved look (Kaya, Jeanette, Liv (omg am I teasing the next girl? Yes :p)). Nathalie's case is probably the most 180°-ish turn in the game. While Akane becoming another peace keeper is kinda logical considering her skills, Nathalie's new job has nothing to do with her old cleaning type. Without spoiling too much, just know that now works under the direct orders of Léonie :) That's why I needed her look to change a lot. She needed to have that "secretary" look without looking like Ylva too much. So the black pants and shirt was a good combination. The glasses help a lot to. I'm not sure I ever mentionned it somewhere but I'm kind of a glasses guy :x (so giving glasses to a girl is adding a sexy element to her ^^'). I wasn't very fond of Nathalie's original haircut. I liked the fact it looked like she didn't really have the time nor the money to take care of her hair but it wasn't much sexy. One thing I liked though is that it felt natural compared to haircut like Halcyon's or Paige's. I wanted to keep that for her new look. So I went for a simple braid and it works pretty well. It makes her face look less chubby, gives her a professional look without looking overly sophisticated. All in all Nathalie represents the best mix between "evolution" and "being true to the original design" (at least for me). She has that simple "charm" that makes her really apart in the cast.
