Plus, it has a good english dub, and despite its high production value, not that many has made reactions of it. I think it's right up your alley :)

It's a great show and season 2 starts up soon as well. so by the time yall got through season 1, y'all could probably go straight into 2 at that point or potentially do a reaction to the movie (which was awesome!) Others mentioned it, but hunter x hunter could be a great option. And have yall ever considered doing a longer show (like Naruto or bleach?)

The "boring" episodes you are talking about are crucial to the plot or development, especially later on during the invasion where everything happens super fast, so the anime has to slow things down and show you what everyone is doing. HxH isn't just a combat show, it has a lot of deep themes, especially about humanity.

The fact that most options are less than 5 years old says a lot. Sure it is what gets hyped nowadays, but Code Geass is just a classic, in the same level as Death Note. I am sure you will notice the difference between something like attack on titan, death note, code geass, and anime like demon slayer. Recent anime are too childish really. One anime I feel like both of you will just love is Monster. Monster is one of the best stories out there, it has detective/mistery elements on it, and it is a very mature show. But, if you are doing just for the views and the growth of the channel, then good luck with chainsaw man, jujutsu kaisen and demon slayer.

You're not gonna understand the nuances and miss a lot of the themes that are present in these newer shows because these directors are assuming that you have seen Naruto or seen bleach and you can just GET the weird magic systems. If FMA thought us anything it is that people get really hify about their anime.

There is no denying that Naruto, Bleach, and One Piece have revolutionized how eastern animation is perceived in the west in addition to DBZ. Of those 4 shows that are the pillars that most other anime that became popular in the west built off of we have watched 0. HxH and Fairy Tail were the next closest to that influence level in the west and so I would start people there. Cuz nothing will amass hate comments quite like saying an aspect of a show is like Jujitsu Kaisen when it was paying homage to a foundational show.

Like, they got FLAMED every time they got the smallest thing wrong with FMA or Death Note. Avatar was the first show they did and followed it by Korra. HxH is like 138 episodes. It would be nice and consistent and take them ~1 year to finish. Plus the people who they attract to join the patron because of the longer show will stay subbed longer as opposed to those who signed up for demon slayer and are already gone 🤷🏽♂️ and they are taking on MHA which is A. Longer, and B Not done yet. At least Fairy Tail is done and HxH is coming back, but has been "done" for over a decade.

I would hate for them to have 10 shows waiting for new seasons or on hiatus. 1) no satisfying finale and 2) if they all return in the same season trying to figure out what to start releasing first.

I don’t know what they were thinking for Season 2, but it was so bad it’ll never be finished and that’s a real shame. My vote is towards Fruits Basket and Spy x Family for shows that are bit more light hearted :)

The animation in the show is top notch and everything about the cyberpunk universe is just so cool imo. Music is S tier as well
