POLL RESULTS, FUCK APPLE

It's not a little, but it's not a lot either. I'm saying all this to say that I won't switch to a monthly subscription plan for reasons I've already voiced many times before. I won't follow the lead of fucking Apple and their whimsical changes, fuck Apple and their corpo-asshole policy.
This information is for those who using Patreon via iOS with app, if you don't want to lose your subscription after the changes come into effect(november), then use the web browser version to renew your subscription and confirm payments for individual posts, if you don't have the automatic renewal option selected (I actually have no idea how it all works there, since I haven't subscribed to anyone using the "per-creation" method yet), for Android and the web browser version everything will be as before, say thank to fucking Apple for the extra problems they create for you because of their greed, all this is done so that Apple can get 30% of the creators' income for their content from payments from those who use the application from their store for iPhones.

2024-08-15 05:14:09 +0000 UTCyou will not be able to subscribe on creators that works on "per creation" system, because it will be deleted from the app according to apple policy changes they made, so no matter what way you use for payment, you will have no option to subscribe on me and other creators that uses "pre creation" system, instead "montly subscriptions" plan.

2024-08-15 00:25:00 +0000 UTCYou didn't understand what it changes, it will not basically change ur fee, they will erase "per-creation" subscription option from the app. it means as only it will be deleted, your subscription will be automaticly declined, or will dissappear if payment will be interrupted or anything like that, after that you will not be able to subscribe from iOS app via "per-creation", there wil lbe available only "monthly" subscriptions plans and that's it, which i don't use, so for my page you will have no option to subscribe in general. Whole thing you can read in official Patreon disord servers, they made a big posts in announcments tab. I think probably you will have acces to my page via iOS app, but for payment/subscription you will need to use browser version to have all functionality available, that's the point of this whole thing, in other ways it should not be changed, but who knows what will be exactly changed in policys, we will know when it will applied.
