PF2e Monster Hunt - The Beating of Royal Wings

Hello Everyone,

I have been hard at work trying to convert my system over to PF2e and I think I am at a point where I am comfortable with releasing a hunt. In this case it is a level 1 hunt that was already a 5e Hunt, but now with some slight differences due to rules. 

This is still a test and currently still uses the original monsters names (but I will be changing them as we get new art and this hunt will be updated when that happens. 

You may also notice that I have been messing with my hunt formatting. This is thanks to the formatting code given for the GMbinder PF2e Template created by Apostol Apostolov that I edited and then made my own. 

What is included?

• The monster hunt & area description much like 5e's
• Basic weapon information including new traits for all the MH weapons and how I think they will work in 5e. As a reminder, PF2e weapons will be using the free archetype feats to get access to additional options with each weapon. The weapons used in this hunt are just the basic weapons, like you would have at level one in 5e.
• Information about your role on the hunt. This includes new actions for all the roles. (Though some of these actions are available in the PDF, I have not figured out what materials or resources will do or how they will transition exactly to PF2e).
• Rank 1 food effects converted to PF2e for the artisan role. (How it worked in 5e is  the same as it works in PF2e at the moment).
• Stat blocks for every monster mentioned in the hunt. They currently have their original video game names, but as art is made and names are decided, I will update them accordingly.
• Each challenge in the hunt has a listed difficulty and experience. This will help GMs with passing out xp faster. Some have multiple XP values based on the number of vespoids in the area during the encounters.

What is missing and why wasn't it included?

Everything you need to run this hunt is available in the PDF below. Other than what was already mentioned above as missing, I also have not included the weapon feats, or the dedication to use for the free archetypes. This is due to this being a level 1 hunt and they aren't available until level 2 (4 for the weapon feats) at the earliest.

Weapon ammo was also not included in this hunt, so you can assume they only have standard normal ammo. There is also some weapon traits that are mentioned in stat blocks. If you are not sure what they mean, you can check it out on Archives of Nethys by searching for the trait name.

Final Stuff

Closer to the end of this month I do plan on releasing a higher level hunt (maybe two) that might use standard PF2e monsters to fill in spaces, but still provide a MH monster as the final boss. These hunts will include the features available to the PCs at that level to help minimize clutter in the hunts. When that happens, I do plan on releasing this hunt to everyone as a test and to bring some awareness to the project.

For those of you familiar with PF2e I would love feedback on anything you find to be an issue. I expect there might be more feedback when we get into testing the weapon feats and other features of the system, but anything is appreciated.
