The MH:Rise Monsters are now apart of the 360+ page MHMM with loot tables!
Added 2021-05-21 19:56:58 +0000 UTCHello Everyone!
The next big update is here! Not only have I added all the new MH:Rise Monsters, but I also added a new tempered chameleos based on the new version in Rise and a Tempered Kirin because of an HR4+ patron request that made me do it :D
Since this has finally left early release, the new combination of the MHMM and loot tables is now available to everyone and this will become the new standard setup for the MHMM. Both the Loot Tables link and MHMM will be updated on the google drive to this new version along with the GMbinder links.
The new monsters are as follow (in no particular order):
- Tempered Chameleos (CR19)
- Bombadgy (CR 1/8)
- Rachnoid (CR 1)
- Rakna-Kadaki (CR17)
- Goss Harag (CR 18)
- Almudron (CR 15)
- Thunder Serpent Narwa (CR 19)
- Wind Serpent Ibushi (CR19)
- Somnacanth (CR 10)
- Magnamalo (CR 17)
- Tempered Kirin (CR19)
- Bishaten (CR 7)
- Palamute (CR 1/2)
- Tetranadon (CR 6)
- Izuchi (CR 1)
- Great Izuchi (CR 3)
- Aknosom (CR 6)
In addition to this we have some updates and changes to Amellwind's Guide to Monster Hunting:
- Removed additional upgrade cost for having a weapon with a shield
- Attunement rules changed to make it more clear and more inline with 5e setting while still limiting what you can attune to.
- Hammer & Lance charge text has been updated to be more clear.
- HBG and LBG now have a new weapon property called "loading" for balancing purpose and to make use, once again, of the materials that let you ignore the loading property!
- Hammer's Mighty Hammer property is now a Con save like it should have been.
- Added Magnet Spike to the Smithy and updated bow range and damage in the smith table.
AGtMH & MHMM has been updated in all locations at this time.
I hope you all like the new look and the new monsters. I appreciate all your support and stay tuned for more, I need to finish up the flying and brute young monsters and then its on to the DM minigame!

Hey Amanda, I have been meaning to respond to this most of the day, but I keep refreshing things :D. I do not plan on creating riders or monsties as a playable option. Beastmaster rangers can already basically do that, if someone really wanted to play as a rider. 5e isn't really mount and companion friendly and makes balancing that much harder to do with them in it. Even sidekicks, which I do plan on doing will require you to basically assume an extra PC is in the party when determining combat encounter difficulty. I will probably create some stat blocks for riders in the future though, using the normal creatures or young creatures stat block as the monsties.

2021-07-13 20:34:48 +0000 UTCAwesome! You've put in so much amazing work with this. With the success of MHS2, have you thought about (eventually) adding in rules and character options for Riders and Monsties? Might incorporate well as a variant of Beastmaster Druids?

2021-05-22 01:58:33 +0000 UTCI like the Update thus far though I would ask one question. Are you gonna be trying to incorporate the Wirebugs at all or you leaving that untouched? fine either way since you already do all this amazing work
