It is with great unfortunate sadness that after many months of trying to work
With our current programmer for Something’s Wrong with Sunny Day Jack, we have had to make the difficult decision to terminate their working relationship with them.
This is due to a long term history of inappropriate actions. And while we will not be elaborating on the full extent of these actions, we must formally apologize to all our fans.
Sauce, the creator, and many individual leaders and team mates have attempted to accommodate their needs so as not to waste any and all completed progress on the project. However, it has come to a point where we can no longer tolerate, condone, or withstand further interactions with this person.
We must ask any and all fans to please not seek this person out. We will not be further releasing their name. This is a separate contractor hired by and under previous management after the leave of our first programmer for personal reasons.
To attempt to contact, find, or “expose” this person would be to go against the affected person’s wishes entirely.
We thank you for your patience. We’ll be discussing with any of our currently on-team programmers who is most suited to pick up progress on the game as soon as possible! We understand this must be frustrating– we are frustrated and disheartened too. We did our best to make the most of the situation up until now for all of you, and we’ll be working tirelessly from this moment on to get things back on track!

Sad to hear the producer has to go, but also relieved that the game SWWSDJ is still underway. We appreciate your hard work and we wish you luck in finding a replacement for the producer.

And as per the wishes of the affected, chiefly being those managing the project, we understood there was no way to terminate the working relationship without greatly disappointing fans. No individual contractors participating in SnaccPop are among the affected. We apologize for not disclosing the individual affected persons involved, but we can stress that there was an earnest effort made to consider the fans first and foremost. Unfortunately, there is just no further way to balance the health of these persons and continuing this working relationship.

It was the desire of those persons (Including the likes of management and creator, Sauce) to see through the project first and foremost. 2024-05-30 00:29:48 +0000 UTCthis is really vague, which i know is purposeful as to not go against the wishes of the victim, however, what do you mean "accommodate their needs", were those the needs of the victim or the perpetrator? were you accommodating someone who had a history of inappropriate conduct just to not lose progress on the programming? genuinely what are you saying, because if you kept around someone knowing their inappropriate actions and accommodated them and not the victim, that sounds pretty shameful.

But tbh it's disheartening to see apology after apology. I know you guys want to put out work as efficiently as possible, and most of the stuff that causes delays is unexpected/out of your hands. However, I feel like the promised dates never really come to fruition. Is October 31st still an expected release date? (not hating or trying to sound snarky, just a genuine question)

Y’all are fine, just do what you need to do and don’t worry about how long it takes. It’s better to have a healthy work environment and “slow” development than a toxic work environment with lots of updates. If that makes sense. Sorry if I worded this wrong! Hope things go smoothly, purely so that the team isn’t under any stress and pressure! We’re all rooting for y’all!
