Monster Hunt: The Beating of Royal Wings

This months hunt I thought it was about time we brought in a new hunt for level 1 PCs. In this hunt, your PCs will encounter a creature many of the patreon players love, the vespoid and their queen.
The biggest thing I did in this hunt is that, I changed up how the signs work. Instead of finding some type of sign of the vespoid queen, the PCs will instead encounter vespoids! After killing enough of them, the vespoid queen will appear on the battlefield to defend her remaining vespoids.
As a note:
- The vespoids provide a potential abundance of upgrade materials and killing this many might boost your players a bit quicker then you plan. What I like to do is destroy any vespoid that take damage equal to double its hit points. Preventing them from carving any vespoid killed in that way, and minimizing some of the materials they will get from a hunt like this.
- Additionally vespoids can be extremely deadly when fighting level 1 PCs, but they are also extremely squishy, typically dying in one hit. I would suggest not having every vespoid spawn in range if you can help it, otherwise they might just cause a TPK.
