Emotional Regulation:

Today we covered the first handout and half of the second handout of Linehan's DBT Manual Emotional Regulation Section 9.

We focused a lot on biological and empirical evidence for the function of some emotions, and what regulation IS and ISN'T.

We finished with 3 very simple regulation techniques for anxiety, anger, and reframing (which can be used for scenarios that trigger multiple feelings at once).
