Been a while, but my precious medusa got chosen (finally) sooooo here we go: Q - Split Shot - basically count as extra attacks with reduced damage (can miss independently of the original attack, can target couriers, doesnt use attack modifiers unless the talent is chosen) - the passive can be disabled with silver edge's break - dusas illusions use splitshot when it was active when the illusions were created. With the respective talent each illusion can attack up to 10 enemies simultaneusly. (main dusa + 2 manta illusions + 2 rune illusions = up to 50 different arrows at the same time) - probably heat seeking (targets all visible units except wards and buildings) - doesnt work when denying allied units W - Mystic Snake - Always bounces to the closest target; cant hit the same target more than once per cast - Can bounce on units in fog of war (especially funny with the last bounce when the enemy doesnt see it coming either, deals massive damage out of nowhere) - cant bounce on invisible, invulnerable or hidden targets (if the target becomes either of those mid bounce, the snake just bounces off and goes on to the next target) - Cant be cast on spell immune units but it can bounce on them and still steals mana - Blocked by linkens sphere on cast and on bounce; if linkens blocks a bounce the snake stops and immediately returns to medusa - aghanims upgrade instantly kills illusions - BEWARE that aghs upgrade requires you to have at least one level in R for some reasen (this shouldnt really be an issue unless you for some reason a) never skill R or b) manage to buy aghs before lv 6) E - Mana Shield - Probably the most useful but least interesting spell - Doesnt interrupt channels when toggled on or off - Increases medusas effective HP by about 150% (given that she has enough mana) - Reduce all damage before reductions (even reduces damage that is dealt after reductions like orchid's) - FEAR MANA BURN! (Fuck AM, fuck Nyx, fuck PL, fuck Diffusal, fuck everything, I quit!) R - Stone Gaze - "The beauty of Medusa is legendary." - Ability quote - Turns peeps to stone if they look at you for 2 seconds while ult is active - Gives you a slow debuff when you look at her - Petrified units are magic immune (nice ult you got there QoP, would be a shame if something happened) - slow debuff persist until either you are petrified or stone gaze ends - the 2 second facing timer does NOT reset when you look away once - Being invulnerable or hidden doesn NOt protect you from stone gaze unless you become invulnerable or hidden right as it turns you to stone - Once the petrify debuff ends you can be turned to stone again if you look at dusa again for 2 seconds - Illusions that would be petrified are instead destroyed - A petrified unit takes increased physical damage but ONLY from autoattacks, not from spells - Stone gaze can not be dispelled and pierces spell immunity; being petrified can be dispelled by strong dispels TALENTS - Lots of good talents, especially hard to decide between the lv 20 talents - +700 mana is amazing but the increased stone gaze duration can petrify enemies twice in a row much easier - Lv 25: Split shots using attack modifiers is awesome but +7 split shot targets lets you attack boat loads of people at once - Lv 10: Evasion &gt; damage; it lets you stay alive way longer - Lv 15: better mystic snake mana steal &gt; attack speed; less enemy spells more effective hp for snek waifu
