QnA regarding the March Painting Competition :)

Hey all, I've had a small barrage of questions regarding the Painting competition, which is to be expected as we did leave it open on purpose :) So hopefully this will answer what you've been asking.

Q. I don't have Facebook can I enter any other way?
A. Yes, if you want to enter via the likes of instagram and twitter, then please do, be sure to add the tag #EpicsNStuffs so we see it. That said, the voting is done on facebook, so submitting early and not participating via Facebook might have some deminishing returns or put you at a disadvantage.

Q. Does it have to be a new print/paint or can it be an old one?
A. So the requirement is this, it can be an old print/paint as long as it's not been entered into any competition in the past. Again if you submit something right away/early, you put yourself at a disadvantage as attention on these competitions tends to be backloaded, so might be an idea to show progress but not make the final submission until nearing the submission date.

Q. Can I use models which are available via your MMF/free models link?
A. Absolutely :)

Q. Can I submit more the one entry?
A. No, that's not in the sprit of the competition on this occasion.

Q. Can I make it part of a scene/diorama with other models?
A. Yes, HOWEVER, the Epics 'N' Stuffs model has to be the main focus, and be front and centre in the framing, so by all means use a background, a base or some props etc... but be sure the main subject is the Epics 'N' Stuffs mini.

Q. Are there any limitations on location?
A. So if you live somewhere out of the ordinary which requires special delivery provisions then we might only be able to offer the digital prizes. We're fine with the package/delivery costs for most places, the main factor is if it gets there intact. So yeah, no limitations on entry just manage your expectations on prize delivery.

Ultimately the competition has several goals, to engage the community, help with awareness of Epics 'N' Stuffs and also we do keep a list of paint jobs we like just in case we want to commision work for upcoming future campaigns.
