so, uh, don't unpledge just yet!! I swear I haven't abandoned VGM! This is admittedly one of the goofier tracks I've covered on my channel tho
I'm not sure how aware most of you are of just how simplistic metal typically is composition-wise. It's Guitar, Drums, a Bass and sometimes a vocalist. A decent producer can take these few simple elements and forge a thrashing beast of a mix out of them.
...but EDM type stuff? Goodness, I don't even know where to begin. All of the producers associated with groups Monstercat and whatnot make production downright INTIMIDATING for people like me. Trying to reach a happy medium between the two genres is always a headache and requires a LOT of effort on my part. It's a bit exhausting.
Ultimately though, I'm simply outside of my comfort zone. I'm inexperienced in the genre. I think I can make this medium I mentioned sound halfway decent, but I really am most at home dealing with simple metal instrumentation.
...yeah. this was a mess to put together and I really wanted to abandon it several times. I hope it came out okay!! lemme know what y'all think! seeya next week, and thank you again for your continued support <3
