As for Basculegion, it would make sense for Sam to find another hidden evolution, he’s got 2 potential ones already. And for Driffloon, well it’s just my favorite Ghost type.

Tho the lore of how they come into being maches well with how redi/her famaly likes to rehabilitate mistreted pokemon (thinking of the kanguskhan and porygon here)

Especially since having a ghost/normal type is cool since he has a Normal Type specialist Rival in Redi. Plus Bitter Malice is insane for Sam's fighting style.

Voted for golurk cause he is my favorite but he would be in a weird spot fighting for space with primeape but he can fly so that is interesting. Greavard cause a defensive wall is a missing spot plus doggo. Finally sinistcha because it would be interesting to have a healer on a team.

We’ll probably have to wait quite a while for any of the top three leaders, which suits me fine. Save them for future region hopping.

2024-05-29 02:09:17 +0000 UTCVoted Poltchageist because it's easy to fit into Johto, fills slots on the team that aren't occupied (healer, bulky special sweeper, stall), matches Sam's fighting style (status), and finally because it's hella cute. Also voted Honedge because Dragapult is overrated and redundant on this team (speedy specials via Gengar and potentially Hisuian Typhlosion in this universe).
