We got new equipment!

As described above, YES, we indeed got new equipment. We had a great first month since our Patreon launch and reached our Audio Proficiency Buff faster than expected. We had a wishlist of sound recording gear that we had our minds set on. And looking towards how the support is set to increase, we thought we'd go bigger! In the long run, we think this will be a good investment and our audio quality should have a substantial improvement.
The group photo is from a sound test we did a few days ago. We still have to get our heads around the new set up, but we managed to get it all working, which is a huge success! Starting this month we're going to start recording this way and hopefully we'll into a comfortable groove with everything.
Just a heads up though, that because we're still learning. The next few episodes might have a bit of growing pains. We'll have to figure out what audio levels suit our three unique voices and get comfortable with having a serious looking microphone very close to our face...
As you can also see, we do in fact record in a kitchen! This is Bryan's kitchen, that's the table where he eats his dinner sometimes. Feel free to zoom in and move around the photo and interpret what you want from his personal belongings.
