Update

Happy Sunday, everyone!

Let’s start with some exciting news about Amulet of Broken Time.

First off, thank you so much to everyone who has already supported the story. I honestly didn’t expect so many of you to pick it up before it even launched on Royal Road.

Right now, I’m planning to launch on September 15th, if everything goes as expected. The release schedule will likely be five to ten chapters on day one, followed by three to four chapters every week.

Here’s the revised synopsis I’m probably going to use:

Tiberius was once the greatest emperor the world had ever known until his empire was swallowed by the sea and his soul bound within a cursed amulet. Centuries later, his name lingers only in whispers, twisted into legend as the Mad Emperor.

As humanity falters under the dominance of elves, orcs, dwarves, and dragons, an invasion looms on the horizon. In this age of fear, Rafael a thief of low standing, defies fate and discovers the long-lost Amulet of Tiberius.

At first, it seems his triumph might prevent a war. But Rafael’s hope quickly shatters when he realizes he has stumbled into a deadly web of intrigue. Soon, kingdoms hunt him, for whoever possesses the amulet commands the bound soul of the emperor and with it, the power to rule all.

Thankfully, Rafael is not alone. Manifesting at his side is the spirit of Tiberius himself, whose strength and wisdom may be the only thing keeping Rafael alive. Together, thief and emperor embark on a perilous journey, to fight the evil that has thrived in Tiberius’s absence and to bring freedom back to a world on the edge of ruin.

No worries, we’re sticking with five chapters a week! Depending on how progress goes, I might even sprinkle in a double chapter now and then.

I’m super hyped to hear what you think about the upcoming system events. The first one is a fairly standard treasure hunt (with a few unique twists, of course), but the ones that follow are completely different.
