The Amazing Story of the Piru Piru
The Piru Piru lived on the island of Piru Piru, eating Pirupatate (Pirupy Potatoes). They were about the height of an apple, even though they had never seen one. They could only say "Piru," but that was all they needed. One bad day, the Pirupatate ran out, and they were forced to look for food elsewhere. Piru Piru Piru decided to invent a means of transportation, the Pirupiruboat. They set sail for the open sea. They found a new, cold land. With the snow they found, they invented slushies, but they didn't taste great. Unfortunately, they ran out of that too and had to set sail again, especially since it was very cold.
After being at sea for a long time, the ship was destroyed by a storm. The Piru Piru were surrounded by sharks who were even hungrier than they were, but the Piru Piru were so friendly, and the baby sharks didn't want them eaten, so they started crying and decided to save them, swimming with them to another island. There they found so much food: apples, pears, vegetables of every shape, flavor, and size! They ate as much as they could, leaving only the seeds. They fell asleep from eating so much, and finally woke up to find nothing left.
Piru Piru Piru Piru, who was very intelligent, understood that seeds grew into plants that bore delicious, tasty fruit. So, once they had built a Pirupiruplane, they flew back to their beloved island. They learned to grow crops, and now they had so many things to eat that they became confused and didn't know how to name them so as not to make mistakes. They decided to invent letters, and then words.
In addition to "Apple," "Pear," "Strawberry," "Potato," and "Hunger," they began inventing all the words they needed, like "Friends," "Peace," "Love," and "Music." They decided to give themselves wonderful names and greet everyone who wanted to know their story with a hearty "Piru Piru!"
