Nightmare Mickey: First Animatronic Test!!!
Added 2024-01-10 23:19:00 +0000 UTCToday was fun!! After gluing the four quadrants of Mickey's head together we were finally able to test the head animatronic. We learned our lesson on Springtrap not to wait to long to test things....so we bolted the mech onto his head and gave it a go!
To our surprise, it worked just fine right off the bat!!! (We're not used to that... 😅) We had this genuine moment of like, "Wow, we're getting better at this, it didn't crumble into pieces and fall apart!" which felt really good.
Plenty of work still ahead, but now that we can actually test the mechanism with weight on it, Jay can continue to make improvements and tweak things. We were just so excited we wanted to share it with you guys right away. 😀
