Cursed Pirate Treasure Chest - 3D Print Files
Added 2022-03-22 14:47:13 +0000 UTCAs described in the video, we custom modeled several parts for the treasure chest to match the concept art so that we could 3D print them. Attached below are the exact files we used so that you can print them yourself and build something similar.
These are "print-in-place" hinges so that means they print as a single part but still function as a hinge. The latch gets glued into the front hinge with the two small tabs.
This is my first time making .STL files available so please let me know if you have any feedback or if I should adjust them somehow!
Print Settings - We printed our parts at 0.2mm with 15% infill on our Prusa i3 MK3S.

Hey Gregory - No special settings other than what's mentioned above, but any "print in place" hinges will depend on your printer having a relatively good level of accuracy. What machine and filament are you using?

2024-10-08 13:29:35 +0000 UTCLove these files. Thank you so much for sharing them. I am having troubles with the hinges not moving after printing, it looks like the joints may be melted together. Was there any special setting you used to get them spread further apart?
