[EXCLUSIVE] [F4A] A Blue Year's Kiss [Part 2] [SFW] [Hallmark-esque] [Cynical, Sarcastic Businesswoman Speaker] [Kindhearted Musician Listener] [Flirting] [Getting to Know Each Other] [Running Errands] [Cafe] [Misunderstanding That Could Be Easily Solved By Just Talking To Each Other] [Sharing Stories] [I Can't Fall In Love With Them!]
Added 2023-12-28 07:08:17 +0000 UTCWhen business executive Skye is unexpectedly stranded in the cozy town of Bluebell Grove due to a snowstorm, she finds herself surrounded by warmth, compassion, and a tight-knit community. As she bonds with the locals, she finds a special connection with a local musician with a song in their heart and stars in their eyes. At first, she writes them off as a naive dreamer, but as New Year's Eve approaches and the storm keeps her in Bluebell Grove longer than expected, she feels her heart becoming inexorably drawn to them...!

Blue's Notes
There's a section that starts at roughly 22:00 (maybe a bit after) that I meant to sound like a music montage?? Then I realized that music montages are really difficult to convey using sound only. Then I thought...fuck it. Let's try it. What do you think??
Music in this one, in order: "Love You For It All" by Daniel Gunnarsson, "My Only Wish" by Gamma Skies, "My Only Wish (Instrumental)" by Gamma Skies. All music is used with permission with a license through Epidemic Sound Library.
Audio is attached!! Since the Dropbox audio player has not been working, I've decided to just start attaching the audio to posts. You can still download every audio from your tier's folder in the pinned post HERE!

The axe foreplay at the start reminded me of these lines from "So, I Married an Axe Murder:" "Charlie Mackenzie: I was afraid you were going to kil - leave me. "Harriet Michaels: You were afraid I was going to cleave you?" Thankfully, this storyline quickly recovered post chop-talk. Actually, so much so that it truthfully has all the trappings of a made for TV movie vis-a-vis Hallmark. Predictably and cheesiness aside, those movies (and by association this story) are endearing in the hope they offer the viewer or listener, as the case may be. Although only a brief time has passed story-wise, the measured, narrative build is welcomed. As Alexander Pope once wrote, "Charm strikes the sight, but merit wins the soul." Methinks there be merit herein for Skye.
