I had a spooky moment recording this where my MIC STOPPED WORKING ENTIRELY AND MY BRAIN FELL APART
After half an hour of panic (why is my brand new mic freaking out?!!?!!??!), it turned out that the plug was coming loose from the computer. Haha!!
