With a more theatrical character I can lean into one or two vocal quirks the character reminds me of and talk around those things. With more realistic characters, I have to keep my choices much more consistent. I tend to speak in a lot of different voices IRL, to be silly or as it goes with my mood, so I have to fight that instinct as well, haha!
