Monthly model port
Added 2025-06-06 11:30:50 +0000 UTCSo i was about to start experimenting with that butt/breasts physics grab tutorial that got the most votes... which is something i have never really done in any of my animations (physics involved wise) but i got a couple ideas on how i could make it.
And i realised that i have not yet asked you guys about this months model. and honestly, i don't know how to adress it. There's a lot of characters out there. so it doesn't feel right to make a poll and give you just a couple options, yet at the same time i don't feel like making it vote based because maybe you ask me for example for a Lucia (GTA6) model and that's not even out. and i don't really like making models trying to match the appeal of the character. kinda like with eve from stellar blade. there was a few models out there before we got our hands on the actual ingame model. but i always prefer to work on the actual game model.
So what should we do? poll seems like a very limmiting approach. vote based seems risky. and just letting you guys suggest models and then me picking one seems unfair, would be like spinning a lucky wheel. so idk how to adress that. what do you think it would work best?

I don't really have a good solution for this, but one thing I do want to mention is that when a fighting game roster is chosen, the developers typically pick fan favorites to headline, but also include some oddball stuff for hardcore, longtime fans who maybe don't get to see their favorite character very often. Ingrid being in the next season of SF6 comes to mind. Perhaps there's a way to appease the majority while still allowing for less popular characters to get a chance. Selfishly, I will advocate whatever method increases the chances we get more quality Chun-Li models/animations. :P

2025-06-08 04:28:49 +0000 UTCU can do a post wich everyone can write which model they would like, with a 24h limit. After that you can make a poll of the models nominated that you can import and go from there. Could it be a good solution?
