Where's Tifa?

Welp, as usual, i ended up getting distracted, and distracted from the distraction and distracted again and i understand that it might look like i abandoned the project once again.

The main issue i've had all this time is that i really didn't see myself capable of making a long project, and after working on this longer bela animation i realised that i've been scared of nothing. So the plan is finishing bela, porting the neytiri and jake models make a quick loop with them and then tifa project nonstop. it has been a bit of a crazy couple months because i comissioned the daz port of both neytiri and jake and learning to port models from daz to blender is quite delicate. one wrong moove and you messed up your whole progress since some stuff can't be undone. so i decided to make some tests porting models that are less complicated (no tails, 5 fingers, normal human height etc) so that's how i ended up porting bela, ada and that muddy lara. i finally understood the process and will make a tutorial about it, probabbly this month. unfortunately it looks like i struck gold with that bela animation since it's doing so well on twitter and sems like you guys are loving it too :3 but this has delayed my plans a bit :3

So, back to tifa, I think i'll start the whole tifa project "from scratch" meaning that i will use my own tifa port (same proportions and same outfit and same everything) but mustard's models despite awesome they're a bit heavy for the sake of customisation so i think i'll port my own tifa :3 that way i'll be able to make a tifa model with all the stuff i'll need. then it will be just animation nonstop. also i've decided that instead of making a reallyu long animation and keeping you guys waiting for months just with WIPs waiting for the final release. i've decided i will make like a 1-2 minute long animation each month. like "small chunks" that then will be assemblied together into the final long version. I've also considered the idea of making like one of those DVD like options/scene selector. would be nice to be able to have everything sepparated so you can just choose which part you wanna watch. i reccommend checking scourge of the evil if you don't know what i mean. you can choose a scene and "lock it" so it keeps playing on repeat and it even offers alternate camera angles for every piece of action :3 that could be cool :3

Since my goal is to make a 15-20 minute long project i think that would be nice. though idk how legal would it be to make and sell physical copies. like i would legit want to have that as a physical copy with a DVD and a small booklet of it, maybe with some behind the scenes stuff or something =^.^= but i'm getting ahead of myself. so so far, i'm gonna get bela and neytiri out of the way first and then it's nonstop tifa
