Also, i'll start learning unreal engine on my free time since it might be a good idea to make this animations a little bit more "interactive" right? *wink wink*

I might do more gaming when i feel i have learned enough and gained enough experience working in 3d to have an efficient workflow and not forget bits and pieces if i take a break. It is more stimulating than gaming anyway. Another piece of advice if i may though, there are a few things to consider with multi-gpu setups if you have not done that before. Space inside the case for one, a good spacious case with good airflow is critical, because the heat generation is insane. I originally bought a case i thought was big and had good airflow, and had to change it because having 3 giant video cards crammed in there was too much heat for it, and the GPUs were constantly on their thermal throttling thresholds, declocking themselves to prevent overheating. Few other things too, but i feel i would create a wall of text here about it, so if you feel like you need the advice let me know and may be able to email or something

2020-01-24 03:49:00 +0000 UTCWow that was super helpful man :D I'm not really thinking of a Quadro to be honest. i have an RTX 2080 and i think it would be bettert to buy 2 more of those and have the desktop with 3 of those. i think they will definitely do the work lightning fast and won't be as expensive. and for the monitors... well i was thinking of one of those super ultrawide 49 inches monitor to prevent the seams but 1000$ was more than i could afford. i wanted to have my normal ultrawide on top of that but well. after messing arround with them for some hours i think 2 of this are better. the only downsize of a dual ultrawide setup is that you will only play in one screen, at least in fps games. but not a big deal since i barely play games lately. belnder has been my favourtite game for like 5 years now xD

2020-01-24 03:29:01 +0000 UTClike you i wanted more than 1 monitor, so i went out and got one and boy was it helpful....but then i immediately wanted to run 3!. Once you realise how much it helps, you find reasons to need more. I currently run 3 and would run 4 if my desk was big enough. Also i would do a lot of research before buying a Quadro. They dont seem to be worth the money outside of professional studios that need 10bit color output and other quadro only features. For traditional GPU renderers they have no real speed advantage over high end RTX or Titan, the only thing you really get for your money if you are using it as a render slave is the added VRAM, which these days most GPU renderers have out-of-core rendering functions to help negate that significantly. I know eevee is a real-time renderer so im not sure how that changes things, but with other GPU renderers the price of a quadro simply isnt worth it over a high end RTX
