Class Act
Added 2020-06-01 06:49:47 +0000 UTCFun Fact: I thought about naming this story "Tit-orial," but I decided that was too much for even me. That's saying something, considering I have a story named "Case of the Cumbrains." But what's the story about? I'm so happy you asked!
Clement has just earned his Adventurer's License! He's undergone the rigorous examination process at the Temple of Light, and they've assembled a host of statistics necessary to officially title him an adventurer! Now a Level 1 Knight, Clement is eager to apply to the Guild of Heroes as soon as possible...
...but a pair of snickering shysters convince him that his license isn't quite finished yet. Luckily for him, they're happy to fill out the remaining details at Cindy & Mindy's Finishing School, where one can learn all about "finishing" in dungeons. And while Clement is upset that he apparently only has 1 Willpower, the two of them seem to know what they're talking about...
I've been getting a lot of feedback lately that people continue to really enjoy the story The Daily Grind! It's funny, stories written years ago still have a certain longevity online, and that never seems to fade. Of course, I wrote The Daily Grind for a reason, and I still enjoy the themes explored in it now! Thus Class Act was written as a kind of "updated" version of The Daily Grind. Not literally, of course, though I have toyed with the idea of rewriting TDG and giving it a sort of "HD rerelease." Another time, maybe!
I'm not happy that I only had the time and energy to write one story this month. Working on The Milk of Inhuman Kindness took a lot of effort, and I've still got some modifications to make to it before I feel like it's really ready to be released publicly. Nothing big, but it definitely needs polish. And, you know, an actual title screen.
In any case, I have a few announcements to make sometime next month, so I hope you'll all stay tuned for that! It's big stuff, but it's been long overdue, as far as I'm concerned.
Until then, thank you so much for your support! I'm very fortunate to have fans willing to support my creative endeavors! Heck, I'm fortunate to have fans at all! I hope you all stay safe and have lovely days! And, again, thank you so much!

2020-06-03 14:52:55 +0000 UTCSo much fun! Possibly even... the most fun? Certainly up there in any case. And I like the idea of revisiting the meta-RPG setting in the future, too.

2020-06-02 13:37:10 +0000 UTCNot a bad idea, and I promise I'll be writing that sooner rather than later! I'd just gotten so much love for TDG recently (and personally love imps so much) that I wanted to write another piece with them. But trust me, I love the RPG setting, and there's a lot to do with it! Other monster types will definitely show up!
