Monster Girl Mixer - Chi Chi Chi House
Added 2020-02-29 09:31:16 +0000 UTCHey, everyone! It'th the return of a fan favorite thith time! Two, in fact! Writing one of the other thtorieth- Akpth! Writing one of the other stories last month reminded me just how much fun the Lorem Ipsum setting is, so I figured I'd make a more explicit return to the Monster Girl Mixer format, no pun intended.
That's a lie. My puns are always intentional.
Anyway, this story was fun, and it features a character a fair number of people have been asking about, too: Mary the nerdy succubus! This time, though, she's not being ignored by some hot guy, she's being flirted with by one. I think that most of the charm in her character is how earnest she is, however, so don't expect her to flirt back much until she's all but cornered.
This was a fun story to write! It also edges distressingly close to maledom at some parts (and definitely features a guy taking the lead for most of the story), but that's more because I wanted to push Mary until she pretty much snapped. It also toys with some of my favorite archetypes, which are nerdy girls who happen to be breathtakingly sexy...and couples that indulge in super kinky fetish play while still being incredibly lovey-dovey and respectful of each other.
I guess with Mary I couldn't really have it any other way.
As always, thank you so much for your support! Please let me know what you thought of the story, and for everyone who'th not tho fond of Mary'th verbal quirkth, retht assured I'm going to put out a "lithp-less" version later today. Just not right now, because I need to get some sleep.
Fun fact: I used to have a lisp when I was younger! Then one day I started to consciously correct it when I spoke, and now I don't have one! That was back when I was, like, five or six, though. Mary's in college, so she doesn't really have an excuse. But I guess maybe it's cuter for a succubus?

God, I’ve already got such a crush on Mary. I really hope she keeps running through your imagination and we see her back! I’d love to see her confidence begin to grow!

2020-03-15 00:51:36 +0000 UTCShe sure was! And while the archetype is inherently comical to start with, Valentina definitely had a lot more potential depth, the angel being IIRC mostly a one note foil/bait for the thief and possibly an illusion anyway.

Or whenever it's out, of course. :) And yeah, I didn't really notice it before, but now I can definitely see how the male characters in Perils of Fame and Case of the Cumbrains have at least some Vendric in them! Don't recall any other Valentina types in your stories offhand, except I think in Tower of Trials, there was a... I want to say valkyrie, but don't want to check because that would be cheating. (edit: ok, I checked now. A fallen angel. I must have valkyries on the brain from playing God of War recently. :D)

A lot of my writing process is dedicated to the "worrying" phase of things, so it's always a delight to find that those worries are unfounded! I'm especially glad that the lisp didn't interfere too much in your case, because I feel like there's not much worse than interfering with a story's readability when it comes to smut...and not much that's less attractive than a lisp. As for Marital Habits, I don't know when we're going to be seeing Vendric and Valentina again, but they're both character types I really like, so take that as you will! I'm hoping to have the first chapter of a more episodic story out tonight, but the best laid plans of mice and men yadda yadda yadda.

2020-02-29 21:23:31 +0000 UTCEdging towards maledom or not (nah, you’re fine), but I think the whole dynamic between Jason and Mary works really well to show the way exaggerated gender role clichés are reversed in the Lorem Ipsum setting. Also, I thought the slow burn with the sexy stuff was great, and using the lisp to show when Mary was getting flustered was done sparingly enough that it enhanced the story rather than making it hard to read. And "fun and sweet" might be your forte but darnit, this is definitely one of your sweetest and fun-est yet! Really happy that you've been more active again! I know it’s a long shot, but it makes me just a little hyped for more Marital Habits. Or even a short joke fic with Valentina doing some commentary on basically anything. :D
