Hey-howdy-hey-hey!

Of the Post-Christmas Trio, this story is best described as the Ghost of Fiction Present, even if it's nowhere as jolly as the spirit in the original Charles Dickens novel. The reason being for its role is that it's a story I wrote this month! That's about as "present" as one could expect.

As for why it's not altogether jolly, that has to do with the story itself.

In this story, a TA named Michael copes with a smug, chauvinistic Ocker named Jessica sexually harassing him. You see, Ockers are a subspecies of Goblin, and while a Goblin is sweet enough to lure men in with doting domesticity, Ockers are crass, incredibly rude, and think that a man's place is either in the kitchen or under a woman.

And with the Fourteenth coming up -- a holiday where Goblins claim "Momma Hob" helps single Goblins hook up with single men -- Jessica's been especially forward with the object of her untoward affections!

Of course, it's all just superstition, right?
