Tameryraptor

Palaeoart drawing for my own pleasure, depicting the predatory dinosaur Tameryraptor, known from fragmentary remains.

The little bump from the top part of the skull, indicated (B) on the diagram above, has been interpreted as a nose horn, but it was likely part of a more rugged texture on the animal's head.

This was the original ink drawing that formed the basis of this illustration. If you look closely, you will notice that I printed the animal's skeletal drawing at 10% opacity on paper, and drew the outlines over it. You can easily clean the lines after scanning.

The head was drawn slightly larger, and then shrank and pasted onto the yellow area. This way, the subtle compression of details makes the animal's face look more vivid... and "alive".

Thank you all for supporting my work on Patreon, and beyond!
