Let's go over the creation process for this character.
This was the initial sketch, done with markers on tissue paper.
My patron added an expert finishin touch by suggesting a peeled face, almost like a Venetian mask.
I did another inkjet print and drew it over it to create a refined sketch. Lately I've been finding these collage-sketches valuable as individual artworks themselves.
After this stage I proceeded with my usual lineart-screentone-colour method.
