I was curious, so I just checked, and the westbound transatlantic crossing on the Queen Mary 2 from 13 Nov 2022 to 20 Nov 2022 is currently available with a "Late Saver" base fare of $699, and the eastbound transatlantic crossing on the Queen Mary 2 from 3 Jan 2022 to 11 Jan 2022 is currently available with a "Late Saver" base fare of $1,099. There aren't any other crossings that would allow for Alice (or anyone else coming from Europe) to make it to the live show without flying. There is one additional round trip between the two I mentioned, but it conflicts with the live show (and is sold out regardless). So, yeah, taking the Queen Mary 2 for the December live show would involve something like a six-week stay in the United States. So, uhhhhhhh… maybe there could be a Patreon stretch goal for Alice's transatlantic ship fare next time around? I imagine it would be easier if the show date were arranged sufficiently far in advance that it could be made to work with Cunard's schedules, rather than trying to get Cunard to fit with yours.
