Bikes with springer tech for the drive motor. Dual springs: One winds up while the other powers the wheels. Just before that one is unwound, it automatically switches to the other spring with no hesitation, and first spring winds up to full then hits a standby mode, until the next spring unwinds, then the whole process repeats. The driver feels nothing at the changeover. All they have is a gear shift, accelerator handle, and clutch like one of our motorcycles.
