Very mild spoiler for how the game works There is a player character who can be customized and is the only character who can class change freely. The other characters, of which there are almost 30-40 recruitable characters. Each character has a set class, with the ability to SLIGHTLY alter their class with passives and abilities from other classes. Also, for the first time in the series, 8 characters fight at once. You have a front line and a back line, and cam switch which one in battle. The back line allows for restoration of HP and SP every turn, so swapping in and out is crucial
