His example with the cards was good, the one where you flip the spin of one particle and the one far away also flips was just not true. Quantum entanglement can’t transfer matter but it also can’t transfer information since you have no control over what state the particle you kept with you will turn out to be. Einstein thought it was freakin’ weird that quantum measurement, which is the determination of quantum states behaved this way.
