I'm doing a lot of images lately for girls from the next game. Wonder if that means the first update for the next game could be closer than you think? TBH it's something I'm gonna think about and get back to you guys on after the dev cycle for Ch. 17 is over.
I've got the ideas for the prologue already, but not sure if I'm gonna pull the trigger on them just yet. Like I said, something to ponder though. I will say this, I've got a scene written for the next game already, and I'm really excited about it! But, I'm also not sure I want to take dev time away from One Day at a Time just yet. However, at the same time I'm itching to do the first update for the next game too! So, we'll just have to wait and see I guess!

That gets asked and lot and I really can't be sure. MC is still on Step 9. Although the relapse ending will probably happen before he finishes the 12th step. But, we've gotta get done with the steps resolve a bunch of stuff and then have all the other endings for the game. So, like I said I really can't tell you how long that will take. What I DON'T want to happen, which I've seen other devs get accused of, is not bringing it home. I totally plan to end this thing with just a high a quality as has been there through the whole game.

2024-05-09 19:35:07 +0000 UTCThe next game will have fewer renders at higher quality. Like a traditional VN, they won't open their mouths every time they speak. Which I wish I'd have never started for One Day at a Time to begin with, but can't really stop now, because it would just look weird.
