patreon

I need to take a mental health day or two...

...An asshole on an adult gaming site really got to me. I know I should not listen to trolls, and just make my game and mods. I get people that bitch about those too. "Your Mod broke my game" (99.9% of the time through no error of mine) because they either didn't know how to install it or didn't ask, or installed it over something).
Anyway, I just don't have the motivation today to deal with anymore BS, after yesterday. And, when I go to write, all I can think about is this persons brutal comments about me. So, I'm going to take care of number one for today. After I update Intoxicating Flavor here in a second, I'll update whatever else drops mod or WT wise in the next day or two.

I kinda want to reassess a little bit if it's even worth being active on some of these adult sites (please don't mention their names in the comments patreon doesn't like that).

Or if I should just go patreon only like some devs have done. The bad apples on these sites are getting to be much more than they were when I started doing this over two years ago, and It's beginning to really get to me. To the point I just don't want to go on them. I also need to find a way to work through the Mod whiners. Like saying maybe, "send me a screenshot" or something, and that's it.

NOTE: Just to be clear and reply to some of the comments below. I'm not stopping my Game or Modding and PDF's I just want to find a different way to navigate these sites. If that means not reading many comments or reviews (which most are positive, but the bad apples again who think they are self important and just trash a year of what you've done, might make it not worth reading reviews at all) I need to figure out a way to work through that.

Already called him, and I agree with everything you've said.

I cannot add much to what the others so far have said other than people behind keyboards grow 10 feet tall and say a lot of things that they would not normally say,....and call your sponsor. :) (There is something I hadn't seen yet. :) )My sponsor knows every happy, depressing, and gory detail about me, hope you and yours have the same relationship. I'll end with a story, bought Cyberpunk, and was 'unhappy' and the poor level progression, so I of course got on internet to find cheats...I went through like 4 cheats, each one broke my game, requiring reinstalling it, and trying it again....11 hours later, I still did not have a modded game, and I had lost 11 hours of my life.....I blamed myself-not the modder author. (That was before I found wemod :) ) I can understand though, you have a certain amount of pride in the mod you created, and the fact that it 'broke someone's game' you feel somewhat responsible. However, large computer companies spend 1000's of hours and 1000's of dollars to make sure programs are compatible with all computer system setups. I'm sure you do your best, but if you spent 1000's of hours....we wouldn't ever see a mod. :) At the end of the day, do your 10th step, and if you feel like you did things 'right'...go to sleep happy and proud. Have a great few days off!

Bless you.
