GIVEAWAY: Quadcopter, TS80 soldering iron, iCharger X6
Added 2018-10-23 18:27:01 +0000 UTCIt's time for a giveaway! This time I'm keeping it simple `by offering up three items at once.
The quad is a Rooster frame with CLRAcing F4 FC, JB Micro Eagle, Armattan ESCs, and Lumenier POPO 2407/2500kv motors (they say 2700 kv but they're lying). These are POPO Pro motors so you'll only be able to use them with POPO props. AKK Ultimate vTX. RXSR receiver.

THIS GIVEAWAY IS A LITTLE DIFFERENT. Please read this part!
In the U.S. there are laws that regulate giveaways, sweepstakes, raffles, and so forth. Basically, any time somebody pays money for a random chance at winning a prize, that is regulated under the same laws as gambling. This means that almost all small-time giveaways you see people doing on the Internet are probably illegal. But nobody cares and it doesn't matter.
Except Patreon recently realized that a whole bunch of their Creators are probably breaking this law by doing giveaways tied to Patron reward levels. And Patreon cracked down and told Creators they had to stop.
HERE IS WHAT HAS CHANGED ABOUT MY GIVEAWAYS
The only way I can continue to do giveaways is if they are open to anybody, without requiring people to pay me money. This means that my giveaways are open to all Patrons, not just $5 patrons and higher like they used to be. This also means that my giveaways are open even to non-Patrons.
The law does not require that I publicize the giveaway in any particular way. So I'm posting here and all Patrons will receive notification of the giveaway. Anybody else who comes along to enter the giveaway will be able to enter too. But I'm not going to announce the giveaway anywhere except here on my Patreon page.
I have always said that I hope you contribute at the $$ level that is equal to the value you get out of my content. I have always said that I hope the giveaways are a nice bonus, and not the main reason you subscribe. That's still true, and I'm happy to open up the giveaways to all my Patrons starting today.
