Happy for JB, but... I hope to see AMA drop support for FPV. It should happen in a year or 2 once 550 if defeated in court officially. Right now FPV violates the underwriting they carry and puts the insurance at great risk. It remains only because settled law does not exist to assert the regulations (2012 congressional decision on RC craft) in a sense that would force the pivot. I don't think I am going to keep my membership mostly because via some DAC/ARC people showed me how the AMA is a bad deal for FPV.

Congrats, however do you feel the AMA is doing as much as it could to limit regulation and promote the hobby? I am rather disappointed in them and have felt like they cater to fixed wing and park flyers, etc. Why do so many AMA sanctioned clubs and fields still prohibit multirotors or limit to hellis only? Feel like we are second class pilots to them. Sorry, off my soapbox, but this is sore subject with me. Again, congrats and I truly appreciate all you do for our hobby.

Yes, congrats, that is soooo cool. Everything that moves our hobby (quad flying) forward is a good thing, I am a member of a flying club and most of the members fly planes and a few fly the quads. Most are old school and old-LOL. I like the field as it is wide open and can do testing.
