Early look at my Aomway Commander Review

Hi folks. I've reviewed the Aomway Commander. The video will release on the 12th, but Patrons get an early look. The goggles are currently not available to order. I think that they are revamping the line and the v2 of the goggle will have built in head tracker, so that's nice.

Hmm, when I go to your OneDrive by clicking the image above I get a "file not found". How do I access it? And, Happy Fourth of July!

Thanks and that makes sense! There is one guy in NJ who has a small supply of the mid-June V1 (no head tracker). By then I'll have the TPU battery holder if you want to link to that in your video.

I made the video unlisted again so you can watch it. I'm holding the release until Banggood, who provided the goggles, has stock. I thought it woudl be faster but it just keeps dragging on.

Joshua, did you ever publish this video? I've searched and scoured your channel to no avail! I was interested to see your comments. I got a pair last week and although I'm an inexperienced flyer, I really like them so far. The battery management needs some re-work though. I think a simple 3D printed TPU holder on the back of the head bands hold do the trick.

I'm really surprised you'd take these over the HD2. The larger screen on the HD2 seems so much better to me! But maybe when combined with a high-tvl 16:9 camera...

ohhh, I missed the original video and can not wait for the youtube release, very curious... :)

Mine finally arrived after a few months and have not used my HD2 since. I can't tell the difference in diversity quality from my LaForge . The DVR seems better if thats possible and combined with the Foxeer Monster 16:9 it almost looks like I'm seeing HD. Also flown some HS1177 with it and took me zero seconds to adapt. For the price point, its going to be a hard one to beat. I still do bring my HD2 to the field because its serves as a "divining rod" when searching for quads in tall grass. Unfortunately 5.8 frequency scanners are very expensive.

HD3 are very good no doubt. Super pricey.

Thank you Joshua. I am in the market to purchase my first set of goggles. I have been using the Eashine box style and am just about fed-up with them. I keep coming back to the "buy once cry once" mentality. I looked at the Attitude V4s and the Aomway but the field of view is narrow so once again I am leaning towards the HD3s. I keep thinking FS will come out with a replacement for the HD3s and so drop the price. What to do..what to do.

I started with box goggles, I then bought the HD3s with Laforge diversity modules. As a product manager that deals with China, I can just about guarantee that since the rise of this hobby, we'll be seeing some very very innovative solutions. Returned the 600 dollar setup, someone is getting filthy filthy rich off these, granted they may have exclusivity to Samsung oled, but at 42 degrees I felt like I was looking at a crappy 13" down a tunnel. They are not immersive, they still had some blurring issues due to the convex lenses not properly made.

13:17 josh you dont know what im talking about haha.

It'll be tough for anyone to come along and unseat FS as it's the obvious upper-tier favorite and solid brand. I do wish we could see more innovation but until, I'll be fine with the facebox.
