Added 2016-05-08 01:02:54 +0000 UTCDear patrons: the least I can do for you is let you help pick which videos you want to see. Here is my current brain-storming list of ideas for videos to make. Please comment here on which ones strike your fancy.

- How to set up Blackbox on Cleanflight. I have videos on getting the hardware going, but not the Cleanflight config.
- HS1177 latency measurement. I did some testing once that suggested that the 1177 may have something like 50 ms latency, which seemed very high, but I never got back around to double checking.
- How to shave weight on a copter, and the importance of weight.
- Should a new pilot use 4S vs. 3S? I'm actually going to argue 4S.
- Which PID controller to choose, and what are the differences between them (hint: it doesn't actually matter so it's a bit of a trick question).
- Troubleshooting an OpenLog device that isn't working correctly.
- PID tuning visually (i.e. without Blackbox).
- Build Tip: Foam mount your electronics.
- Effect of mis-placed CG on overall thrust level. Summary: mis-placed CG reduces overall thrust because some motors must spin faster than other motors.
- Betaflight filters explained: gyro_lpf, dterm_lpf, etc...
- "Can't arm" -- steps to take. This is actually very well covered by the wiki, but it's an idea I had a while back, and everybody likes a video.

2016-05-09 20:51:47 +0000 UTCI would like to see Betaflight filters. I tried explaining it to my buddie, and there just aren't aren't that many good online videos or threads to point him to. Also would like to see a a video on RF transmission, and how things like carbon fiber, metal, shield/reflect the signal. Multipathing etc. Maybe show people how they can shield a part of their antenna on their frsky or other rssi enabled radio to make it directional and find a lost model using the rssi ( a trick I've showed a lot of folks at my club, and they were more than impressed.)

2016-05-08 01:37:03 +0000 UTCI have a friend who flies photography drones commercially. He even has a Section 333 exemption. I really want to interview him, but he is super busy. I'd have to put some thought in what I could bring to the table interviewing a top pilot though.
