Hi JB. I'd love to see a cause and effect, theory and/or practical regarding cli filters in betaflight

Hayden de Dulin

visual pid tuning and betaflight filters for me. they are all great ideas by the way

Maxime Dessureault

I vote for everything you suggested ☺

More/Updated PID tuning stuff and the filters explained. Lots has changed in betaflight since the "start to finish" stuff on rcgroups. Some of those settings don't even exist anymore.

Robert Craig Quillen

a setup guide for running multishot with betaflight. Including cli settings required, esc re-cal, multishot installation on to esc's

Video about night flying What settings to use on fpv cam. IR vs IR blocked. Using IR LEDs on quad like Juz' video ( https://youtu.be/YD5tO3wGtZw ) Night specific cam and lenses, etc

I would like to see Betaflight filters. I tried explaining it to my buddie, and there just aren't aren't that many good online videos or threads to point him to. Also would like to see a a video on RF transmission, and how things like carbon fiber, metal, shield/reflect the signal. Multipathing etc. Maybe show people how they can shield a part of their antenna on their frsky or other rssi enabled radio to make it directional and find a lost model using the rssi ( a trick I've showed a lot of folks at my club, and they were more than impressed.)

I would say PID tuning visually too. I still find it difficult to tune, so anything that will help me with that will be appreciated.

Visual PID tuning

I'd vote for PID tuning visually and Betaflight filters explained too.

Michael Wesemann

I'd vote for PID tuning visually and Betaflight filters explained. Great work Joshua!

-Visual PID tuning -Blackbox setup -Betaflight filters Thanks for asking!

These three I think would be quite interesting. - PID tuning visually (i.e. without Blackbox). - Which PID controller to choose, and what are the differences between them (hint: it doesn't actually matter so it's a bit of a trick question). - Betaflight filters explained: gyro_lpf, dterm_lpf, etc...

PID tuning visually (i.e. without Blackbox).

Visual PID tuning for those who have the advanced to Blackbox yet.

I have a friend who flies photography drones commercially. He even has a Section 333 exemption. I really want to interview him, but he is super busy. I'd have to put some thought in what I could bring to the table interviewing a top pilot though.

I vote for: Build Tip: Foam mount your electronics

Have you considered doing interviews? I listen to multicopter podcasts but the hosts are usually clueless. Would be great to interview top pilots and dig deep into their flying styles, ideas, etc. Oriented more towards advance audience. There are plenty of interviews intended for people starting out.

Blackbox in clean flight including dealing with fast 150 - 250 looptimes. And maybe a separate video on what software to use to display blackbox data and sync video. Thanks.

I know I'd be interested in hearing how to set up blackbox as I just got an F303. It looks like I just enable blackbox in uart1 but maybe it's more than that. The ways to save weight idea is also intriguing. Like what is a good weight range to try target in 200-250mm frames?
