A Musical Note: Launch into the Unknown
Added 2018-08-31 01:48:27 +0000 UTC"Super Atragon" is one of Japan's most famous SF titles, in its live-action incarnations often connected to the Toho Kaiju universe; Atragon of the title is a multimodal submarine/battleship of fantastic power. This particular theme is the final piece of the soundtrack and is the main theme of the ship itself.
It is, therefore, unsurprising that it also represents a ship in my writing: in this case, Zounin-Ginjou, the immense battleship that is the flagship of the Liberated, and Orphan's preferred transport. Zounin-Ginjou has the unique distinction of being the only ship that appears in all three Arenaverse novels; it's seen in dock in the middle of Grand Central Arena, plays a significant part in Spheres of Influence including being in the center of the battle against the Blessed-to-Serve, and is the ship that takes Ariane, DuQuesne, and Wu Kung to face the Challenges of the Deeps.
I'm hoping to get a picture of Zounin-Ginjou made sometime; I'd really like to see the ship that's currently in my imagination.
